Dan and I were married in Barbados in 1989. Shortly after our wedding, we made the island our home, and a few years later, we welcomed our son. My family’s roots in Barbados run deep, with our family tree stretching back several centuries. Many of our relatives still live on the island. The photograph of the East Coast featured on our homepage brings back fond memories of family picnics and lively beach parties by the sea.

It didn’t take long for Dan to established himself as a renowned photographer, and I was fortunate to work alongside him as a stylist. We were given the opportunity to photograph some of the most stunning villas in Barbados and across the Caribbean. The island’s duty-free shopping attracted numerous luxury brands, allowing us to showcase their elegance through our photography of high-end products.

Barbados is a place filled with remarkable talent. We were lucky to collaborate with a diverse group of people, including architects, decorators, business tycoons, local artisans, international chefs, and even the rich and famous. Life on the island was never boring, thanks to the vibrant and dynamic community around us.

On weekends, Dan would venture out to explore and capture the island’s landscapes. His portfolio includes panoramic shots, 360-degree views, and still images of Barbados’ natural beauty. The rugged cliffs and turbulent waters of the North are a sharp contrast to the powdery, pinkish-white beaches of the South. The West Coast is known for its golden sands and the warm, clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, while the East Coast offers refreshing Atlantic breezes and breaking waves. Dan’s talents extend beyond photography. He taught himself to become a master mold maker. Our Vintage Shell Mirrors, beautifully designed by my aunt and expertly crafted by Dan in limited editions, are a testament to his craftsmanship and creativity.
